a) The common regulation governing Ph. D. degrees of Kenyatta University shall apply.
b) The general regulations for all Ph. D. degrees in the School of Agriculture and Enterprise Development shall apply. 
c) Holders of M.Sc. degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Breeding, Livestock Production Systems, Animal Production, Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural Resource Management, Dryland Agriculture, Range Management or any other equivalent qualification from Kenyatta University and other institutions recognized by senate of Kenyatta University. 
d) Candidate must include a brief outline of the proposed research project.
